F-16 for Ukraine – US Senator suggested inviting American pilots

After talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Graham said retired F-16 pilots who want to fight for freedom could be hired by Ukraine.

“They (Ukrainians – ed.) look among NATO countries for ready retired pilots to help them train their own pilots,” he said.

According to Graham, in this way Ukraine will be able to use the F-16 aircraft transferred from its allies earlier, while their pilots are being trained.

“My message is that we must be fully involved. That’s what I want to see in 2024: I’m going to raise this issue. I will be asking President Biden before you leave office to make sure the invitation was extended,” Graham said.

The problem with the pilots
