Ezra Miller pleads guilty to burglary

Last summer, Ezra Miller (30) was charged with breaking into a neighbor’s house in the state of Vermont and stealing several bottles of alcohol.

The incident happened in May, and in October it became known that Miller denied criminal guilt. Then wrote Variety that the actor risked up to 26 years in prison.

Now the actor has pleaded guilty. On Friday, the judge approved the indictment haggling – where the agreement is that Miller must pay a fine, undergo probation and continue with psychological treatment, reports Deadline.

Miller answered the judge’s questions during the hearing, but reportedly declined to make a statement.

After the hearing, Miller’s attorney, Lisa Shelkrot, made this statement:

“Ezra would like to thank the court and the community for their trust and patience during this process, and would like to once again acknowledge the love and support they have received from their family and friends.” The Guardian.

The actor’s lawyer also wrote that they thanked the family for being supportive of working with Miller’s mental health.

Miller, who is non-binary, are known from the “Justice League” films, where they play the superhero “The Flash”. It is expected that a separate feature film about the character will be released in cinemas this year.

The last year has been turbulent for the actor. The 30-year-old has been accused of allegedly choking a woman in Iceland in 2020, and was arrested twice in Hawaii last year.
