Since the regulation of the EYP changed and it went to the office of the Prime Minister (with the dominance of the ND in the elections), the most secret service of the country constantly knows new supervisors.
As reported by BIMAtodotis, after the impeachment of Grigoris Dimitriadis (for the carbine wiretapping scandal) who had the supervision of the EYP in Maximos Palace (and the Prime Minister), this supervision passed for a while to Giorgos Gerapetritis (he was then Minister of State and tenant of Maximos) and then to Yiannis Bratakos.
Now after the dismissal of Yannis Bratakos, it should normally go to the new general secretary of the prime minister and his close associate, Stelios Koutnatzis.
As BIMAtodoti highlights, Koutnatzis, he is extra-parliamentary and if there is a question of parliamentary control or legislation, he cannot do it. So they began to have second thoughts. One is for Makis Voridis to take over the EYP (along with the new duties he has undertaken) and the other, perhaps the most likely, is for the Minister of Citizen Protection, that is, Michalis Chrysochoidis. After all, EYP and the Pro-Po Ministry are housed in the same building on Katehaki Street.
