Head of Data and Information Center for the Directorate of Vector Infectious Diseases and Zoonotics of the Ministry of Health, Didik Budijanto, when contacted by telephone from Jakarta, Thursday, explained that there had been discussions regarding the preparation of a health protocol to prevent Covid-19 transmission in refugee camps.
The discussion, according to him, includes setting up refugee camps to enable the implementation of Covid-19 prevention protocols such as maintaining distance and minimizing crowds.
“The first is of course the health protocol from the immune side. Then there are more pluses. It’s being discussed with friends,” said Didik, quoted by Antara, Thursday (9/24/2020).
He said that the preparation of special health protocols in refugee camps was carried out by considering various aspects but did not provide a detailed explanation of this.
“There are various aspects that must be considered, but hopefully they will be issued in the near future,” he said.
