There are many places where rain clouds have developed locally, and there are places where there is a brief lull while heavy rain of around 20mm per hour currently falls in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, and Jincheon, North Chungcheong Province.

Heavy rain warnings are in effect for the inland, mountainous areas, Chungcheong, southern regions of Gangwon, and Jeju Island.

As more strongly developed rain clouds approach near Jeju, very strong rain of up to 80mm per hour will be concentrated near the southern coast and Jirisan Mountain, and it will rain 30-60mm per hour in the southern region and Chungcheong-do until the day after tomorrow.

Expected precipitation until the day after tomorrow is up to 500mm or more in the mountainous regions of Jeju, 400mm or more in the vicinity of Jeju, the southern coast, and Jirisan Mountain, and 100 to 300mm or more in Chungcheong and other southern regions.

Tomorrow’s central region daytime temperature is expected to be 29 degrees in Seoul, 27 degrees in Cheongju, and 27 degrees in Jeonju and Ulsan in the southern region.

Waves will rise high in the distant sea south of Jeju.

On Thursday, the monsoon rain will slow down for a while, but it is expected to rain again across the country from the weekend.
