Extreme weather changes, such as heat exceeding 40 degrees and heavy rain exceeding 200 mm per day, hit all parts of the world, causing damage one after another.
El Niño, which came for the first time in four years, is the cause, and there are constant warnings that such extreme weather events may continue.

In Spain, alerts have been issued in 34 provinces as high temperatures soared above 44 degrees Celsius in some areas.

On the other hand, in Vermont, the eastern part of the United States, more than 200mm of torrential rain poured over a full day, and it is estimated that this heavy rain caused more than 6 trillion won in damage in the northeastern region alone.
In India and Japan, heavy rains also caused great loss of life.
Experts attribute the extreme weather changes to the fact that El Niño, a phenomenon of rising water temperatures in the eastern Pacific near the equator, came this year.
The problem is that El Niño is just the beginning and will only get stronger.
