Large parts of Ukraine have been warned of severe storms, with wind gusts of up to 30 meters per second and blizzards or heavy snowfall, write Kyiv Independent.
Zelenskyj says that several places are experiencing temporary power outages as a result of the weather and that they are working intensively to restore the power supplies to these places.
The severe storm led, among other things, to power cuts in 131 towns and villages in Odesa county on Sunday.
In the Black Sea off Crimea, very bad weather and violent waves are also reported.

Massive Russian attack
Since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the weather has been a frequent topic of discussion.
Last winter, Russia attacked Ukraine’s power grid and energy infrastructure, among other things. The attacks caused many households in Ukraine to lose power.
Zelenskyy stepped out at the time and called the attacks a crime against humanity.

On Saturday, Ukraine shot down 74 of 75 Russian attack drones overnight, in what it described as the largest drone attack since the start of the invasion.
– The main target of the attack was Kyiv, said the head of Ukraine’s air force, Mykola Oleshchuk, in a statement.
According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy, 77 residential houses and 120 other buildings in central Kyiv lost power as a result of the attack cutting a power line, but later in the day the power was restored.
