DRAFTING / THE BEAM
Ensenada, BC
Given the weather conditions in the State during the last hours, the person in charge of Accident Prevention, Fernando Gmez Rivas, recalled taking extreme precautions in order to avoid fatal accidents.
He noted that during the rainy season, car crashes due to skidding are common, so it is necessary to drive carefully, observe speed limits and adhere to traffic regulations.
Another element of risk for motorists and pedestrians are strong gusts of wind that could cause blows by objects such as cables, poles or tree branches.
He exhorted the population to schedule their outings to avoid accidents, since streets with mudslides, potholes or flooding, force them to consider alternative routes or take extreme precautions to avoid accidents.
Even if we stay at home, we must also be vigilant there, securing the windows well and keeping the patios and gardens free of objects or branches that could detach with the wind and affect third parties. The important thing here is always to always go one step ahead, since any accident occurs by lowering our guard to daily precautions, he recommended.
