As Herman notes, “the rates of increase in costs of production, raw materials, energy, etc. are at their highest since the early 1990s.”
Wedel’s boss was then asked by “Wyborcza” reporters how much the excursions into chocolate products should be.
“In the case of our sector, it should be about 50 percent government. It is known, however, that such an increase would stop or, at best, significantly limit sales. The Polish consumer portfolio simply would not survive. such a procedure, so the increases are currently double-digit: several at 25 percent. ”Herman says.
