Extreme Heatwave Sweeps Across South Korea: Daytime Temperature to Reach 38 Degrees, Heatwave Warnings Nationwide

Today (3rd), the daytime temperature will rise to a maximum of 38 degrees, and the steaming heat will continue.

The lowest temperature this morning will show a distribution of 23 to 28 degrees, including 26 degrees in Seoul, 25 degrees in Daejeon, and 26 degrees in Gwangju.

The highest daytime temperature will soar to 33 to 38 degrees, with Gangneung at 38 degrees and Seoul at 35 degrees and Gwangju at 36 degrees.

It is expected to be about 5 degrees higher than normal.

While heatwave warnings have been issued nationwide, the perceived temperature will rise to around 35 degrees.

Strong showers will pour in some areas, including Jeju Island, the inland Chungcheong region, Jeonbuk, the northern Jeonnam region, the Gyeongbuk region, and the inland Gyeongnam region.
