Extreme Brazil: baile punk and cachaça metal
Direction the land of cachaça, favelas, Juninho … and Sepultura. Tanguy follows in the footsteps of today’s extreme Brazilian music, passing through Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Três Corações or even the State of Espirito Santo. Brazil is a great land of metal, and it has perhaps never been more alive than since the election of Bolsonaro. It’s a bit like hardcore when Reagan became President of the United States: there are musical scenes exploding around lots of artistic communities protesting against the government’s repressive policies.
