“We are working hard to find out what we are doing and what vaccine may be available for the disease,” Biden told reporters.
The World Health Organization (WHO) says monkeypox has so far been found in 12 countries, including nine European countries, Australia, the United States and Canada, and more than 50 suspected additional cases are currently being investigated.
Monkeypox, a viral zoonotic disease found mainly in the rainforests of Central and West Africa, is caused by the monkeypox virus and usually manifests itself clinically with fever, rash and swollen lymph nodes and can lead to a number of medical complications. .
