In Zvolen we saw fast hockey with many opportunities on both sides. The home hockey players could have taken the lead in the first minute, but Puliš did not subdue Gudlevskis up close. Other chances arose during the Slavonic power play, two escapes were not used by the Zvolen family, namely Kolenič and Zuzin, on the other side Brodzinski shot into the throat. Rahma finally defeated Štajnoch’s defender with a hard shot from the blue line in the 11th minute. They then had a balance on McPherson sticks, Bondra in the escape, or a free Stupka from two meters, but they failed. He also missed the opportunity to increase leadership on the side of the ‘white’ O ‘Donnel.

The second third started with two Slavic power-ups and at that very point he headed from the angle into the Peluso shaft. Offensive hockey continued and close to the second goal was the elector striker Nuutinen after the good work of McPherson in renumbering, but the excellent intervention was performed by the Bratislava goalkeeper. At the end of this part, the hockey players played a power play under Pustý hrad, but during it they were able to cash in, because Rapáč had a squabble and really employed Rahm from among the circles.

In the third period, both teams tried to gain three points, did not slow down, they fought for every puck, but the performers gave good performances. Rahm held the team at the chances of Bortňák or Kundrik and Gudlevskis did not allow Puliš and Nuutinen to score. However, Zvolen was given a power play in the 54th minute. After Nuutinen’s shot, the dotted puck stamped the thigh, but Radovan Bondra got to it and cleaned it safely into the goal – 2: 1. In the end, the people of Bratislava played two goals in a row without a goalkeeper in six, but the home team defended themselves in four and won valuable three points.
