In contrast to the last match with Banská Bystrica, Poprad reached after the change in the goalkeeper’s post. Instead of Rus Todykov, Tomek stood between the three poles. The home team ran very slowly. The first serious barrier in front of Petrík was created in the 6th minute. The people of Poprad were close to the goal only five minutes later. Livingston was in the shooting position, but in the end he speculated with the puck for a long time and decided to pass to anyone. At the end of the 11th minute, Dávid Bondra shot the construction of Petrík’s goal. The guests threatened Welychkom, Tomek’s attempt neutralized him. After a thickness in Prešov’s pass, he found himself in a “super-chance” Livingston. Petrík, however, maintained his team with an excellent intervention. The guests maintained a goal-free score until the first break.
