Dairo Antonio Úsuga David, better known as “Otoniel”, was captured last October. Colombian President Iván Duque made capturing him one of the main objectives of his administration.
Otoniel, leader of the feared Clan del Golfo, spent years on the run. Hundreds of Colombian special forces and dozens of helicopters participated in the operation to capture him.
Dairo Antonio Úsuga David, alias “Otoniel” was the most wanted drug trafficker in Colombia and was compared to Pablo Escobar.
