It looked dark for a long time for Sheffield United in the meeting with Chelsea, who led 1-2 at the end of the match in the Premier League. But in stoppage time, Oliver McBurnie struck to rescue a point for Sheffield United. It was a draw, 2-2 (1-1), in the match on Sunday.
Chelsea had a good start to the match. Thiago Silva pounced on a pass from Conor Gallagher, already in the eleventh minute.
Sheffield United leveled at 1-1 in the 32nd minute when Jayden Bogle struck. In the 66th minute, Noni Madueke struck, played in by Cole Palmer, to give Chelsea the lead.
The equalizer came in injury time, when Oliver McBurnie pounced to score for Sheffield United. That settled the final score at 2-2.
Sheffield United have three draws and two losses and 8-16 goal difference in their last five games, while Chelsea have two wins and three draws and 13-11 goal difference. This was Sheffield United’s seventh draw of the season.
This means that Sheffield United remain in 20th and last place in the table, and Chelsea in ninth place.
