The HC Slovan Bratislava hockey club has acquired a productive striker Marcel Haščák. The top scorer of the past two years of the Tipos Extraliga signed a contract with Slovan by the end of the 2023/2024 season.
According to the club on its website, Haščák will join the team on Monday’s training and should appear in the team in the next matches that Slovan will play on the opponents’ fields in Spišská Nová Ves, Michalovce and Liptovský Mikuláš.
“Marcel and I have been in personal contact during the national team break in recent days. After finding out that he was not completely satisfied with his role in the Comet, we presented him with a specific offer to work in Slovan. In the end, we agreed quite quickly. Marcel is a winning type of player, he longs not only for a full-fledged role in the team, but especially for team success. I believe that in Slovan we will succeed both. ” said the general manager of Slovan Maroš Krajči.
Haščák played 18 matches for Kometa Brno this season, scored 5 goals and added 3 assists.
