Slovak hockey striker Dávid Buc has returned to the Slovak extra league after less than three seasons at the Bratislava Capitals club. He agreed on a contract with the HK Dukla Michalovce club, which informed about it on the official website.

Buc was the captain of the Capitals, in the year 2021/2022 he played in 14 matches in the international IHL. He scored 1 goal, 2 assists, 8 penalty minutes and 3 minus points in the statistics. He has played 482 matches in the highest Slovak competition so far, in which he gained 258 points. In 2012 and 2017 he won with Slovan Bratislava, resp. Banská Bystrica bystory titles.
Following the recent deaths of striker Boris Sádecký and vice-president Dušan Pašek, the management of the Bratislava Capitals club has decided to end its activities in the IHL for the 2021/2022 season. Already eight players from the team have found a new place of work.
In addition to Buca, forward Juraj Faith also headed to Michalovce. Vojtech Zeleňák (Dukla Jihlava), Samuel Fereta (Nové Zámky), Jamie Arniel (Poprad), Connor LaCouvee (KalPa / Finland), Marc-Olivier Roy (SaiPa / Finland) and Nikolaj Žerdev (HCM Meran) have also joined the new teammates. / Tal.).
