Russia’s Defense Ministry has confirmed that the missile cruiser “Moscow”, the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, was set on fire and damaged, according to world media.
“A fire on the Moscow missile cruiser led to the detonation of ammunition, the crew was completely evacuated, the cruiser was seriously damaged and the causes of the fire are being established,” the ministry said.
This information was disseminated earlier by the Ukrainian authorities. Initially, journalist Serge Marco wrote on Facebook about the incident of the Russian cruiser, saying that it happened after he was hit by two “Neptune” missiles of the Ukrainian forces.
