Exterminate Call of Duty Cheaters Rely on Damage Shield

Selular.ID – Blocking or rooting cheaters doesn’t always work as they can usually create other accounts. Ricochet as an anti-cheat game feature Call of Duty continuing to develop, Activison announced that it is developing a feature called Damage Shield.

Damage Shield gives players a shield that makes bullets bounce when they are attacked by cheaters.

This method works when the server detects cheater that damage the game in real-time, they will disable the cheater’s ability to inflict critical damage on other players.

This will make the cheat user more vulnerable to other players, allowing the development team to gather information about the system the cheater is using.

Damage Shield itself, according to the development team, has just been released after testing and is being rolled out worldwide.

The company also informed scammers that it will begin banning them across the Call of Duty game franchise, not just on a game-by-game basis, and that the ban will extend to future Call of Duty games as well.

Subsequent, extreme, or repeated breaches of security policies such as in-game cheating may result in the permanent suspension of all accounts.

In addition, any attempt to conceal, disguise or obscure the identity, or identity of the hardware device may also result in permanent suspension.

Cheaters are getting massive
As previously reported by the developer, the eradication of cheaters will be more massive and aggressive in the future. The publisher, Activision, told PC Gamer that they had already imposed a new penalty on at least 30,000 accounts.

That means that Warzone has eradicated almost 100 thousand accounts in only 2021. Previously, many cheating or cheater accounts were found. Raven Software has announced that it has blocked 60,000 accounts detected as cheaters.

This indicates that Call of Duty continues to have many new loopholes to exploit so that cheaters can penetrate. To minimize this, the anti-cheat system developed by the developer is claimed to be able to filter out cheating players or cheaters. This is the second announcement in 2021.

Some of the cheats they managed to detect included “aimbots, wallhacks, trainers, stat hacks, texture hacks, leaderboard hacks, injectors, and hex editors”.

A number of steps are claimed to have been implemented by game developers to make the Call of Duty Warzone game community free from cheaters.
