Extensionist Meeting “University, Community and Social Commitment” – Provincial University of Cordoba

The Provincial University of Córdoba, through its Extension Council, invites the entire community to participate in the Extension Meeting “University, Community and Social Commitment” that is organized within the framework of the UPC Open Days.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 16 in the Sala Menor of the Teatro Ciudad de las Artes UPC (Av. Ricchieri 1955).

The event will take place in two stages. The first part will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; while the second will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.

Likewise, a Meeting of Children’s and Youth Orchestras will also be held from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Mariel Bof Room of the Roberto Arlt School.

Structure of the Meeting

The Meeting will be divided into 7 thematic panels, 40 minutes each, and will culminate with a closing and final balance. Each panel will have the participation of representatives of UPC extension projects and programs and the extension community in general.

Registration will be done through a Google form, where interested parties can register to participate in one of the panels. A maximum of 4 exhibitors per panel is suggested, to optimize exhibition time.

First Part: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• Panel 1: Challenges of extension curricularization (Extension Secretaries of each Faculty).
• Panel 2: Extension in the field of disability. How to build participation? (open to registrants). Coordinates Verónica Rova.
• Panel 3: Extension and promotion of childhood care (open to registrants). Coordinates Verónica Rova.
• Panel 4: Extension and inclusion in confinement contexts (open to registrants). Coordinates Fernando Vivas.

Second Part: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

• Panel 5: Outreach and approach to the elderly (open). Coordinates Mariana Roige.
• Panel 6: Extension, environmental and tourist communities (open). Coordinates Silvana Ruffini.
• Panel 7: Extension and artistic and cultural interventions (open). Coordinates Andrea Ruiz.

Closing of the Meeting: Final balance through the MENTI platform. Coordinates Silvana Ruffini.

In total, up to 28 exhibitors will participate distributed in the 7 panels. Each exhibitor will have the option of presenting a poster or a brief presentation of their extension project/program, projected on screen with an optional guide format.

This extension meeting promises to be a day of reflection, learning and joint construction, where the Provincial University of Córdoba reaffirms its commitment to society and the production of knowledge for the benefit of all.
