RATB, the company responsible for the management and operation of the Metropolitan Train (project Light electric train) announced the change of working hours in the capital’s railway stations from 7:30 to 24:00 starting tomorrow, Monday 14 November, as part of an overall strategy to provide smooth and passenger-friendly transport services and to make continuous improvements and developments on the train, according to the directives of the Ministry of Transport and under the Supervision of the National Authority for Tunnels.
The company has confirmed the presence of buses for the transport and delivery of passengers from outside the capital’s railway stations to the heart of the cities “Obour City, El Shorouk City, New Heliopolis City, Badr City and Tenth of Ramadan City”, and vice versa during the official working hours of the train, with the aim of saving citizens time and effort and encouraging them to use mass transport.
