“Extended Hours for Vaccinations in San Esteban Municipal Health Department”

  • The vaccination center will attend, in extended hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

As a new vaccination strategy of the San Esteban Municipal Health Department, the opening hours of its vaccination have been extended, in order to facilitate those neighbors who for one reason or another cannot attend within the established hours, agree to get vaccinated against Influenza and Covid.

With the time extension, the vaccination point will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On weekends it will be inoculated between 9:00 and 12:00 hrs.

In addition, on Friday, June 2, the San Esteban vaccination team will travel to the Unión Comunal headquarters, located at Av. Alessandri #45 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. together with the Seremi de Salud to bring these services closer to the center of the commune. Those who wish to access to be inoculated with Bivalent of Covid or Influenza, can do so directly without the need to book in advance.

In order to be inoculated, people must arrive within the new established hours and communicate the purpose of their visit at the entrance. It should be noted that the target groups for influenza vaccination are: Health personnel, people over 65 years of age, chronic patients, between 11 and 64 years of age, pregnant women, boys and girls from 6 months to 5th grade, between others.

“We inform you that the new influenza vaccination schedule will be extended until 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in our cesfam, this with the aim of being able to reach all those users who cannot attend between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.,” added Karina Retamales, in charge of the Cesfam San Esteban vaccination clinic.
