Guatemala City, Nov. 1 (AGN). β The deadline for the immunization of dogs and cats for the rabies vaccine was extended, said day It will be available until November 20 of this year; in accordance with the Technical Commission for the 2023 Canine Anti-Rabies Vaccination Day through the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS).
The objective of this campaign is that people who have not yet vaccinated their pets can turn to a healthcare center at the national level. It is worth noting that health personnel also visit communities and villages in the different municipalities of the national territory.

This period of time was extended at the request of citizens, who protect their pets against rabies and in a preventive manner have responded to the call, aware that rabies is a disease that can cause serious consequences in people.
