Commission I of the DPR approved the KSAL Admiral Yudo Margono as a candidate for Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Yudo’s wife, AKBP Veronica Yulis Prihayati or Vero Yudo Margono, is grateful that her husband is considered the commander of the TNI.
“Thank God, thank God, my husband is regarded as the commander of TNI,” Vero said at his residence, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Friday (2/12/2022).
He said Yudo’s election was a prayer from many parties. Vero also said she has no special preparations before her husband assumes the position of commander of the TNI.
“Obviously all thanks to everyone’s prayers,” he said.
“There’s no (special preparation), try it later,” Vero continued.
Previously, Commission I of the DPR agreed Admiral Yudo Margono as a candidate for Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. This was decided after Yudo underwent a fit and fairness test as a candidate for TNI Commander.
The decision was announced by the chairman of Commission I of the DPR, Meutya Hafid, who is also leading the due diligence process. The due diligence was held in the meeting room of DPR I Commission, Parliamentary Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Friday (2/12).
