This ambition was expressed during the Morocco-USA investment meeting held on Friday in New York. In a press release, the Council welcomed the organization of this investment incentive meeting which comes in the wake of the Morocco-USA Business Forum held last March in Dakhla.
The Council also highlighted the various investment opportunities in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, which abounds in economic potential and stimulating investments, particularly in the energy, fishing, agriculture, tourism, services and industries.
Highlighting the security and stability that reign in the territorial space of the region, the Council stressed the safe mobility of people and goods towards sub-Saharan Africa, adding that the region also has a tax system that favors domestic and foreign investment. Organized by the Regional Council of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this investment meeting was marked in particular by the participation of the President of the Council of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Region, Yanja El Khettat , and an audience of American businessmen.
