Explosives go off in car in Den Bosch, possible arson attempt

An explosive device went off near a car parked in the Jan Pieterszoon Coenstraat in Den Bosch. That happened around nine o’clock on Monday night. This appears to be the continuation of the long series of attacks in Brabant’s capital.

The car did not catch fire, but the street was full of glass from the car windows. Police have cordoned off the area to investigate and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

According to the 112 contact, the affected vehicle belonged to a roofer family. But when asked, a police spokesman said that it is still too early to make statements about this umpteenth explosion in Den Bosch. The attack follows within 24 hours of an earlier explosion at a house on Zesde Herven in the city.

Dozens of explosions have occurred in Den Bosch recently. According to several spies, a rooftop war is escalating in the city. Police previously confirmed after reports from Omroep Brabant that the targets of the explosion were mostly roofers.
