Several explosions were heard in Melitopol and the Melitopol region of Ukraine’s Zaporozhye region on Thursday evening. This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, quoted by “Unian”.
“It is strong in Melitopol and the area of Melitopol. Residents reported several strong explosions in the northern part of the city and in the surrounding villages,” he said.

The forces of resistance are actively at work in Melitopol, where Russian military equipment is blown up almost daily.
In addition, the Russians are building three new defense lines on the territory of the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye region. Barriers of various types will be deployed in three directions at once.
Recently, the mayor of Melitopol said that the Russians wanted to stage a provocation during the so-called “gesture of goodwill”. The collaborators fell under the gaze of the invaders, who must be eliminated during the retreat.
On April 5, an explosion also exploded in the city, before which local residents noticed an accumulation of enemy equipment there.
Several explosions took place on Sunday morning in occupied Melitopol. According to Ukrainian media, a fuel and ammunition depot was hit at the time.
On March 29, Melitopol was hit again by Ukrainian forces. This comes amid continued expectation that Ukraine will launch a counter-offensive, although Kiev’s plans are being kept in deep but expected secrecy.
Two days before that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was in Zaporozhye, an area that the Kremlin annexed, although it controls about 70% of its territory.
