Explosions in Odessa: what is known
Let us note that after the air raid there were explosions in Odessa. At the same time, other sources write that the explosions took place before the danger was declared.
So far, at least three explosions are known in Odessa.
In turn, the head of the Odessa Regional Administration, Oleg Kiper, addressed the residents.
“Odessa region, stay in shelters until the air raid warning clears,” he wrote.
Air raid warning
According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the alarm was declared in the Odessa region due to the threat of the invaders using ballistic weapons. There is also a danger for the Nikolaev and Kherson regions.
Ignat commented on the explosions in Odessa
The speaker of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuri Ignat, admitted that the enemy probably used ballistics.
“There is a threat from ballistics reported. Therefore, you need to go to cover. A ballistic missile, if launched from the territory of Crimea, flies for a fairly short time. From launch to arrival, it takes a matter of minutes. We need to understand this and react immediately. Because ballistics is fast. Actually, that’s how it is now and it happened. You reported that there are already explosions. We will wait for messages from local authorities about what type of weapons were used,” Ignat said on the telethon.
First photos of the consequences
