What is known about the explosions in the Odessa region on February 10
Update. On the night of February 10-11, Russia again sent attack UAVs to Odessa. The head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper called on residents to stay in shelters. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the movement of enemy drones towards the regional center from the west.
After the attack on the Dnieper, the Shaheds flew to the Odessa region. Among the settlements where the drones flew were Zatoka, Tatabunary, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, and Odessa.
At 23:27 it was reported that air defense was operating in the area. Local publics wrote that the movement of drones is changing, in particular, those drones that were flying to Odessa were stopped. However, around midnight it became known that the Shaheds had turned towards Odessa again.
Details about the alarm on the evening of February 10 and the night of February 11
- The alarm is related to the launch of drones from Cape Chauda in Crimea. The drones flew in the south to the Poltava region, but then turned to the Dnieper. Explosions in a number of regions were reported almost simultaneously: the attack was repelled by the Poltava region, the Dnepropetrovsk region, and the Nikolaev region.
- Around midnight, the Odessa and Nikolaev regions were mainly under attack, but the alarm will move along with the movement of drones, so Russia can attack not only the south of Ukraine. For example, there are already reports that drones are flying to a new area – the Kirovograd region.
- The situation is developing very rapidly, new information appears every second, so we are collecting it into one large material. Read where drones are flying, respond to reports from authorities and stay safe!
