Explosions at ammunition depots in Ukraine could be arranged by Russian special services – Bellingcat

The Russian Main Intelligence Directorate may be involved in the explosions at ammunition depots in Ukraine in 2014-2015.

About this on the air “Espresso. TV” said the chief investigator Bellingcat Hristo Grozev. According to him, such a conclusion suggests itself, taking into account the data on the activities of the Russian special services in Europe.

“If Russia, the GRU did this in the countries of the European Union with which they are in a state of informal war, is there any chance that they did not do this in Ukraine, where it has already been proven that they had an agent network and there is a war going on? there is an analytical conclusion, there may be one: yes, they also made attempts to undermine in Ukraine, “Grozev explained.

The investigator noted that the methodology for preparing the explosions in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria is similar. Therefore, Bellingcat came to the conclusion that Russia could also be involved in the explosions in warehouses in Ukraine.

“They always brought remote control detonators with them. That is, they could activate the bomb later, from afar from a mobile. But at first they always caused a fire in the warehouses, and already during it they activated the detonator. This was done in all cases with warehouses,” the journalist added. …

As reported OBOZREVATEL, The Czech Foreign Ministry announced expulsion from the country of 18 Russian diplomatswho are suspected of involvement in the explosions at the ammunition depot and work for the special services of the Russian Federation.

Later, Bulgarian businessman Emilian Gebrev said that in the warehouses in Vrbetica there was a weapon for Ukraine… He confirmed that his company Emco supplied weapons to Ukraine after 2014.
