Explosions sounded in a missile and ammunition depot in northeastern Damascus, at dawn yesterday, Tuesday, and resulted in casualties, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, two days after a similar explosion occurred in ammunition depots belonging to pro-Iranian groups near the Syrian capital. According to the observatory, “the explosion took place inside the warehouse, and violent explosions resounded in the al-Ruhaiba area in the countryside of Damascus.” And he stated that the explosion occurred within a missile and ammunition depot in the “areas of Lebanese Hezbollah domination” in the Qalamoun region, which extends over a rugged border mountain range adjacent to Lebanon, indicating that there were casualties. For its part, the official media did not provide any news or details about the explosion. Similar explosions occurred at dawn last Sunday in western Damascus, according to the agency (SANA), within missile depots belonging to groups loyal to Iran, which resulted in material damage, according to the Observatory.
