The explosion in Nikolaev sounded after the announcement of the air raid alert. Earlier, the head of the Nikolaev OVA, Vitaly Kim, warned of the threat of strikes and special danger for residents of the Ingulsky district of Nikolaev.

Mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich confirmed explosions in the city and reported a fire.
“There are fires after the explosions. I ask the people of Nikolaev not to distribute photos / videos from the places of arrivals or from surveillance cameras. All services will work – we will give official information after lights out,” he wrote.
The chairman of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim noted that there were no victims at the site of one of the strikes, and this is an open territory. Subsequently, he clarified that a woman turned to the doctors with a shrapnel wound.
