The Ukrainian port city of Odesa was hit by explosions in the night from Sunday to Monday. The attacks caused considerable damage.
At least one person was injured, Governor Oleh Kiper reported on Telegram. The port’s infrastructure has been damaged.
Russia carried out both missile and drone attacks on Odesa. Kiper had called on residents at the beginning of the night to look for air raid shelters and not to leave them for the time being.
A large fire raged for a short time in a high-rise building in the city, but according to Kiper it was not an occupied building.
On Sunday, Russia carried out an airstrike on Kherson, about 200 kilometers east of Odesa. According to local authorities, two people were killed.
