An explosion took place at a house on the Jan van Eyckgracht in Eindhoven around four o’clock on Sunday night. A window was blown out of the front door of the house. A window frame was also damaged. No one was injured, according to police.
“The bang was huge and could be heard in the wide area, up to the middle of Geldrop,” says a 112 correspondent. “The impact was so great that the sand that was in the wheel wells of parked cars on this street came loose and ended up on the street.”
To give evidence
Officers speak with the resident of the house and local residents.
Police cordoned off the area with tape and are investigating. Witnesses are called to report. In addition, people in the area who have camera images of the moment of the explosion are asked to share them with the police.
What caused the explosion has not yet been released.
