Kabul: a suicide bombing near the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul, the Afghan capital. There are reports that several people were injured in the blast.
The explosion occurred at four o’clock local time. Police spokesman Khalid Zadran said security forces had reached the spot.
The blast occurred while the Chinese team was meeting with Taliban representatives at the Foreign Ministry office. Meanwhile, neither the Ministry of Foreign Affairs nor the Ministry of Internal Affairs has yet commented on the explosion.
