The Sun released a huge ball of plasma and magnetic field that hit the Earth on October 10th. She caused a mighty power magnetic storm.

“It is currently expected to arrive tomorrow morning or noon Eastern time and may last into the next day,” said Sean Dahl of the Space Weather Prediction Center.
According to the Meteoagent portal, magnetic storms on our planet have not subsided for more than a week. The current disturbances are marked as strong, the K index has exceeded 8. According to forecasts, the magnetic storm will last on Earth until October 12.
The last time such storms were recorded was in 2005. As a result of this storm, the Earth is expected to see a bright aurora even at mid-latitudes. This means that even residents of Ukraine will be able to see this amazing atmospheric phenomenon on Thursday and Friday.
