Peshawar, Dec 5 – An explosion occurred on a road in Peshawar. North-western Pakistan this morning. Five people were injured, most of them children.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Emergency Services Agency said in a statement: An improvised explosive device exploded on a crowded street at 9:10 a.m. local time, exactly 11:10 a.m. today, injuring four children aged 7-10 years, among them. Two people were in serious condition and one adult was injured, Peshawar police said. There is still no evidence to indicate that Schoolchildren were the targets of the bombs.
