The injured are people who live near the warehouse, authorities say. They were injured, among other things, by flying glass.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations says via Telegram that the explosion was probably caused by a lightning strike in a warehouse with stored goods. It is not known what kind of goods are involved.

The fire that started after the explosion was brought under control around 5 a.m. local time. A special field laboratory has been set up to investigate how the explosion could have occurred.
