Details: The head of the press service of the State Emergency Service in the Lviv region, Vitaly Turovtsev, said that a child was taken out from under the rubble of a destroyed house and handed over to doctors, writes Zaxid.net.
According to the patrol police of the Lviv region, traffic along Princess Olga Street from Sakharov Street to Vladimir the Great Street in the direction of Nauchnaya Street is blocked.
Later, Sadovyi reported that, according to preliminary information, the explosion occurred in the garage of a private house. “It’s probably gas,” the mayor wrote.
He said that 6 people live in the house. Two children and two women were hospitalized with burns, their condition is not serious. Two more men may be under the rubble and rescuers are looking for them.
Later, Sadovyi reported that the body of a man, approximately 45-50 years old, was found under the rubble. He subsequently added that the body of a deceased woman, about 70 years old, was found in the adjacent house; the cause of death is being determined.
The State Emergency Service stated that a dead woman was found at the scene and the body of a dead man was released from the rubble.
At 23:17 the fire at the scene was extinguished.
At 23:58, Sadovyi reported that rescuers had found the third body of a man who died as a result of an explosion in a private house in Lviv.
