Ukrainian forces are usually quite successful in intercepting various types of Russian missiles and Iranian-made drones, but on Saturday, an X-22 missile fired by the aggressors hit a high-rise residential building in Dnipro. Why are these missiles harder to shoot down?
On January 14, a Russian X-22 destroyed a part of a multi-storey residential building in a Ukrainian city, by the afternoon of Monday, January 16, 40 dead, including three children, had already been found in the ruins. At least 75 more people, 14 of whom are children, were injured.
Ukrainian air defense usually successfully intercepts various cruise missiles and Iranian suicide drones “Shahed-136”, but with X-22 the situation is different.
