A large police operation was launched after the explosion and the police bomb shelter has been in place. The police have started a preliminary investigation into gross destruction of public danger.
The alarm of a loud bang came in at 23.20. However, there has not been a fire at the site, according to the rescue service.
– No one seems to have been injured in connection with the detonation, says Fredrik Flyberg, officer on duty at the police.
The explosion has caused damage to facades and vehicles that were in the vicinity of the site.

On Monday morning, the barricades must be lifted on the street outside. No suspect has been arrested.
Woke up by the detonation
A resident of the house tells SVT Nyheter how the family woke up to the detonation and that the windows rattled.
– Then the emergency services came, it was in full force and we were asked to stay inside our apartments, says the neighbor.
We have searched for the owners of the restaurant without success.
