Explosion at the Lutugino pipeline on 7 January

There was a large-scale explosion at the pipeline on Saturday evening, January 7. It is preliminary known that the incident caused more than 13,000 season ticket holders to go out of gas.

Note that the town of Lutugino has been under Russian occupation since 2014.

At the same time, representatives of LUGANSKGAZ, controlled by the invaders, said that workers had already been sent to the crash site to restore the gas pipeline.

“On the evening of January 7, an explosion occurred on the main gas pipeline of the city of Lutugino. Currently, LUGANSKGAZ specialists, led by the company’s management, are present at the site of the accident,” the statement said.

The Russian Telegram channel Mash has published a video of the first minutes of the explosion on the gas pipeline.
