85 people have been killed, and 211 are said to be injured. The attack is said to be one of the deadliest in Iran since the Islamic revolution in 1979.
The two explosions occurred near the cemetery in Kerman where the former leader of the Revolutionary Guard’s elite force, Qassam Soleimani, is buried.
Soleimani was killed in a US drone attack in Iraq in January 2020. A memorial ceremony was held for him on Wednesday.
