According to the management company Gruzugol, representatives of the company’s labor protection service are investigating the details of the incident on the spot, five or six people were injured and taken to the hospital.
“There was an incident. Now our labor protection has arrived at the mine, they are investigating what happened. We still don’t know exactly what happened. This remains to be clarified, however, as far as I know, five or six people were injured. who, unfortunately, died. The rest of the victims have minor injuries,” said Gvantsa Delibadze, head of the public relations service at Gruzugol.
As it became known, an investigation has been launched under Article 240 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for violation of safety regulations during mining, construction or other work.
