On the occasion of the 40th edition of the European Heritage Days, the Théâtre A DIRE Company will take you on a journey back in time and thus help you discover the rich historical heritage of the city of Thionville. Let yourself be taken away by the actresses of the company and other surprise guests, in the streets of Thionville this Saturday, September 16.
On the program: at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., entertainment on the theme of marriage, Place Anne-Grommerch (duration 15 minutes). Procession from Place Anne-Grommerch to Place Claude-Arnoult. 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.: show “A revolutionary marriage in Thionville”, that of General Louis Lazare Hoche and Adélaïde Dechaux in 1793, Place Claude-Arnoult in front of the altar of the Fatherland (duration 30 minutes).
About the company
Théâtre A DIRE is a professional theater company founded in 2005 by actor and director Mohamed Mouaffik. Since its creation, the company has mounted several projects anchored in the heart of engaged and human theater. Alongside artistic creations, the company intervenes in several areas: reading and putting into voice various texts, intervention in schools (middle school, high school, social centers), creation and animation of theater workshops for young and old ( children, pre-adolescents, adolescents and adults), creation of small theatrical forms in atypical places.
