Exploring the World Naked: Inside the Controversial Nudist Cruise Adventure

There are many ways to explore the world, but cruises seem to offer something that no other cruise can, from pickleball or Star Trek themed cruises to murder mystery cruises, Irish music or Taylor Swift.

But would you ever take a nudist cruise? According to the Independent, together with the nudist travel company Bare Necessities, they are launching a tour described as “an 11-day adventure back to nudist paradise”.

The cruise, which departs from Miami on 3 February 2025, will visit destinations such as the Bahamas, St Lucia and Puerto Rico before returning on 14 February.

Although it’s already a “paradise itinerary,” there’s also plenty of fun to be had while letting loose aboard the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship. There is an outdoor deck, 14 restaurants and 14 bars, a large buffet, casino, spa and several night life options.

But there are a few rules to remember. Passengers must be dressed during check-in by the captain, at all times in the main dining rooms and special dining rooms and while in port.

Passengers must also put on a towel before sitting in the cabin, on the pool deck and in the buffet area, and they cannot be naked in front of other ships in the port, and especially important – it is forbidden Any “inappropriate stroking or touching”.

From horror to uninteresting, that’s what this cruise is all about. Prices start at €1,862 for a two-person cabin, but go up to €29,590 for a three-person house. You can check out the Bare Necessities website here.
