Exploring the Success of the Last Open Match in Nancy-Malzéville

Three weeks after its opening (see again here), return to Nancy-Malzéville for a new visit to the 115th (and last) Open Match. For what ? For two reasons… First, I love coming back a few weeks after the inaugurations with fanfare, just to see how the initial promise lives on. Then, because I continue to think that Carrefour would be well inspired to keep the Match concept to tickle Grand Frais in a market where Carrefour is not: the premium supermarket / multi-fresh (see my plea here). And Nancy-Malzéville reassured me even more. Match is designed to support the fragmentation of consumption, of which (once again) Grand Frais is an illustration. To put it even more directly: Match is the best PFT brand on the market today. According to reliable sources, several “high dignitaries” from Carrefour made the trip. Always from a good source, some came back amazed.
