Exploring the Promising Future of Wadi Traj Dam Lake in Tanomah: Minister of Tourism’s Visit and Impression

The Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khatib, confirmed that the Wadi Traj Dam Lake in Tanomah has a promising future and deserves development.

Al-Khatib added that he visited the Asir region and the governorates of Al-Namas and Tanumah and went through the experience of kayaking in the lake, describing the experience as new, and that the region is getting more beautiful every year.

Al-Khatib pointed out, through his official account on Twitter, to the historical and heritage value of the castles overlooking the Tebb Valley in the Asir region, explaining that the forts and palaces built of rocky stones represent a magnet for tourists around the world.

He also visited, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Princess Haifa bint Muhammad Al Saud, the tourist grape farm, and expressed his admiration for the distinguished experience, which combined hospitality, the beauty of the agricultural nature, the wonderful atmosphere, and the practice of enriching activities and events.

The Minister expressed his happiness at what he saw in some of the activities of the “Asir Summer” season, in terms of activating the distinguished private sector projects in the season, such as the Terhab, Medhall and Sir regions.

It is noteworthy that the Emir of the Asir region and the head of its development authority, Prince Turki bin Talal, inaugurated last Thursday the activities of the “Asir Summer Season 2023”; Under the slogan “Cool, Rainy Summer”, which is the largest tourist and entertainment season in the region, its activities will continue until September 1.
