Exploring the Power of Social Dialogue: Insights from Corinthians XIII Magazine

Review

Faced with a society immersed in numerous tensions, polarizations and disagreements, our magazine Corinthians XIII addresses, in a monographic way, the pressing issue of social dialogue with the aim of illuminating paths for encounter and reconciliation.

This is what Pope Francis proposes in his encyclical Brothers all: «To find each other and help each other we need to dialogue. It goes without saying what the dialogue is for. It is enough for me to think what the world would be without that patient dialogue of so many generous people who have kept families and communities together.

Persistent and courageous dialogue is not news like disagreements and conflicts, but it quietly helps the world to live better, much more than we realize» (FT 198).

We live in a strongly ideologized society that leads to a growing polarization in the different spheres of economic, cultural, social, political, and even religious life, which open up numerous fractures in need of cohesion.

This process leads us to ask ourselves what kind of relationships we are building and what paths to take to reverse the situation.
